Going to the Tree Farm

This year for Christmas we went out to Mainstay Farm (in Burleson, TX) to pick out and cut down our very first live Christmas tree. It was quite the adventure, though the Texas weather didn't lend itself to a very cold family moment. We all wore long sleeves (I was in flannel) and jeans to go out on what should have been a cold November day (it should be cold for cutting a Christmas tree down, right?). The weather was beautiful and sunny, and in the 70's. Once we got the tree home we were back in shorts again.

Here's some pictures from our outting to get our tree.

Chris, we go every year and have since the kiddos were born. This year let's coordinate - Natalie loves the tube slide and so does Drew but they complain that they don't have any friends to go down it with them. Maybe we all could go and make a day of it.
